This morning the DVFD along with Frankford EMS, Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the NRG Energy power plant located @ 29416 Power Plant Road for a subject injured from a fall. Updated information to responding units was that a subject had fallen from an unknown distance and would require additional resources in order to be removed from the location. Deputy Chief Brandon Blades requested the Sussex County Technical Rescue Team and ladder truck assist from Millsboro and Millville Fire Companies. Units remained on scene to assist The Delaware State Police and State Medical Examiners Office.
